About Founder of Benjakhun Academy
Madam Pen’s journey into holistic wellness is rooted in decades of dedicated medical service and a lifelong calling to heal.
Her career began as a compassionate nurse, where she rose to become the esteemed Head of the IPD Unit at Banhong Hospital in Lamphun. Yet, despite the honor and stability of government service, she often found herself surrounded by suffering.
The experience left her body exhausted and her spirit searching for meaning.
After more than fifteen years on the front lines of patient treatment, Madam Pen came to a profound realization: her true purpose was not hospital work, after all.
Her inspiration traces back to childhood, when she learned from her father, a respected traditional healer renowned for his mastery of local herbs and ancient Lanna medical practices. From him, she inherited both the knowledge and the sacred responsibility to continue this healing lineage that’s been bestowed upon her bloodline for many generations — since the days of Lanna Kingdom.
Guided by this vision, Madam Pen turned toward the timeless wisdom of Thai herbalism and integrative therapy, blending traditional Lanna remedies with modern understanding.
This union of modern medical expertise and ancestral wisdom became the heart of Benjakhun's mission.
Her life’s work has since evolved into a sanctuary of wellness, where care, culture, and compassion meet.
Today, through Benjakhun Academy, Madam Pen shares this integrative philosophy with people with the desire to know-how.
